You will be aware that on 27th February 2018, our school was subject to an Ofsted inspection, the first since October 2012. Following an intensive and rigorous inspection I am delighted to be able to share with you that the school continues to be Good and that safeguarding is effective.
As governors, we are thrilled that the report celebrated how well the school has improved more recently. In particular, it highlighted that;
- The quality of teaching is effective;
- The leadership is strong and has maintained the good quality of education in the school;
- There is now stability, ambition and a clear understanding of how to move the school forward;
- Pupils feel safe, work hard and enjoy school.
Special praise is given to Miss Hulme for her leadership, who has injected a sense of ambition in order to improve our school. Also to Mrs Gallant (our Executive Head) for her support and guidance, which has been greatly appreciated by both staff and governors alike.
Finally we would like to thank all the staff for their hard work; parents for your support and of course the pupils for their continued love of learning.
