Sports Day & Family Picnic Lunch 2022
As you are aware, we will be hosting the Sports Day Family Picnic again this year on Thursday 14th July. Parents can arrive at school from 12:15pm and bring a picnic to share with your children, prior to sports day commencing at 1:30pm. Please use the playground gate to access the field rather than the main entrance. Unfortunately, seating cannot be provided, so parents are welcome to bring their own outdoor seating or picnic rug. If you’re unable to attend and wish for your child to receive a picnic lunch from school, then please complete the questionnaire below, otherwise it will be presumed that you are providing lunch for your child. Also, the PTFA will be selling a variety of refreshments throughout the afternoon. Please note that the field will be set up for sports day, therefore we ask that parents use the centre of the track for the picnic lunch and do not allow younger siblings to move or play with the equipment. Due to our current very changeable weather, we will make the decision and inform you if Sports Day cannot go ahead, as soon as possible, as we will need to take into consideration the condition of the school field. However, as we are aware that many of you will have taken time off work to join us, parents will be welcome to still share picnic lunch and this would have to take place in the school hall.

Also, on the day children will need to be in their PE kit, but wearing a t-shirt in their house/team colours (Farah – blue, Simmonds – yellow, Pendleton – green & Rutherford – red). Please ask their class teacher if you do not know which house/team your child is in.
