In Year 6 we provide exciting but challenge driven learning, in which we aim to inspire and enthuse the children to deepen their knowledge and prepare each individual for life in senior school.

We embrace the National Curriculum and provide an enriched learning environment, with stimulating and differentiated learning activities meeting the abilities of all children. Lessons include; English, Mathematics, Science, History, Geography, Art, Design Technology, Information & Communication Technology, Music, French, Religious Education, PSHE and Physical Education. Are you ready to take on the challenge?

Useful Information

PE lessons are on Monday and Thursday afternoons. Pupils must have both indoor and outdoor kit in school on these days. All jewellery must be removed and long hair needs to be tied back. If pupils are unable to take part in P.E, they must have a note in their Home/School book from parents/carers.

Music lessons are held on Friday mornings and children must ensure that they bring their violins into school every week for these lessons. Children taking part in additional music lessons will also need to bring any other instruments required for these lessons.

Homework is given out on Fridays and must be returned by the following Wednesday. Pupils are encouraged to complete homework independently where possible, but have the opportunity throughout the week to ask for additional help in school.
